Driving Directions: UAB Sparks Center
Sparks Center – Southbound on I-65:
Exit 4th Avenue South (Exit 259B). Proceed to 18th Street South and turn right. Proceed to 6th Avenue South and turn right. The entrance to the CPM/Spain Rehab entrance is on your left.

Sparks Center – Northbound On I-65:
Exit at 8th Avenue South (University Boulevard/Exit 259). Proceed to 18th Street South and turn left. Proceed to 6th Avenue South and turn left. The entrance to the CPM/Spain Rehab is on your left.

Sparks Center / Westbound On U.S. 280:​
Follow Highway 280 until it merges with Highway 31 North and becomes the Red Mountain Expressway. Proceed north and exit at 8th Avenue South (University Boulevard). Turn right onto 8th Avenue South and proceed to 18th Street South. Turn right and proceed to 6th Avenue South. Turn left. The entrance to the CPM Spain Rehab is on your left.
UAB Parking: Center for Psychiatric Medicine/Spain Rehab Valet and Self Parking (Lot 36)

You will park at Spain Rehab in Lot 36. The address is below:

Once you arrive, you will park and enter the Spain Rehab Lobby. A parking attendant located in the booth (or inside the lobby) will give you a card, which you will bring for validation.
Once there, please call Kerry Howard, the Research Nurse Coordinator, at (205 )934-1885 or Alicia Hill, the Clinical Research Coordinator (205) 934-4115 and they will come down and escort you to Sparks Center. It is not very far, but walking may be tiring. If you need a wheelchair, please do not hesitate to let us know. If there are any changes to your availability on the day of, please notify Kerry or Alicia. Thank you
